The St. Philip’s Labyrinth is a classical five circuit labyrinth, constructed with
individual pavers, on the site that formerly housed the parish rectory. The
installation of the labyrinth was part of St. Philip's 175th anniversary,
celebrating the construction of the church building, located at the corner of
5th and South Central Avenue.

A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the
imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path.
The labyrinth represents a journey to our center where the Spirit resides, and
back out again into the world. Labyrinths have a long history as meditation
and prayer tools.

When visiting:
1.Simply be quiet in the moment and walk slowly toward the center.
Pause at the center after arriving there.
Slowly make your way back to
the entrance, following the same path out.
2.Meditate on a specific subject seeking guidance and direction.
3.Contemplate your place in the world and how you can manage/make
change happen.
4.Experience spiritual renewal through an act of prayer.
5.Reflect on a passage of scripture.
All are welcome, day and night, to make this walk with God.
